Not to talk behind, not to be a talebearer
One of the behaviours that lead to unrest and malice among poeple is to talk behind, or to be a talebearer. Those who talk behind drive a wedge between fellows, friends and relatives. They destroy the feeling of trust of people. People become unreliable to each other. If a man conduct the word that he has heard against any person to same person, he brings about unrest, in other words "nemime." A rightful Muslim, when someone is being backbitten in the presence of him, warns the backbiter in a proper way, keeps the backbiting words within himself and never conduct them to backbitten person. It is a sin to talk behind. It falls people out with each other. It disconcerts society. Islam forbids that bad trait. In a hadith, it is said that "A man who talks behind will never be able to go into paradise."1
